Years ago I visited Shawn when he was in college. One night for dinner he made glop. I couldn't even begin to tell you what exactly he put in that night's version of glop. Anything and everything goes into a pot which then gets glopped into a bowl or plate.
Last night I modified a vegetarian sloppy joes into glop. A dish of rice, beans, carrots, onions and green peppers become glop with the addition of corn and cheese. Comfort food. I happily ate my glop last night and will do so again today with the leftovers. Glop serves a purpose when all you have is a hodge podge of foods.
